Experience game drives within the reserve.

Xugana Island Lodge,
Okavango Delta

Heading to the nearby Okavango Delta, the next stop in your journey takes you to the world’s largest inland delta. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is an oasis amidst Botswana’s dry Kalahari Desert, spanning over 15, 000 square kilometres. Waterways, lagoons, floodplains, and islands are rich in wildlife and birdlife. Species found in this region include rhino, hippo, elephant, lion, giraffe, leopard, and crocodile.

For two nights, you will have the chance to explore this region from the peaceful Xugana Island Lodge. This lodge is located on the Xugana Lagoon – a scenic water site within the Delta. Here, elevated en-suite chalets are fitted with elegant African touches and thoughtful amenities, from soft beds to private decks looking out over the water. Relax in the thatched common area. Indulge in delectable meals. Experience boat safaris and dugout canoe trips to spot game near the water. Watch the sun slowly set over the water as you take in the dazzling beauty of this area.

Chobe Princess,
Chobe Riverfront

The final stop in your journey takes you to the Chobe River. This river lies between Zimbabwe, Namibia, and Botswana. It is home to some of the best wildlife viewing on the planet, with a large number of species to be seen. Elephants are found in the thousands here, with hundreds at a time making their way over the river during the elephant crossing. Birdlife is equally rich and many species can be seen on the water and on the shore.

During your last two nights, you will be able to take in all of this beauty from one of the luxurious Chobe Princess houseboats. Each fully-equipped houseboat caters to an intimate number of guests, giving you the feel of being on your very own vessel.
