Sabi Sands and the Zambezi Queen Collection Houseboat Stay (5/6 nights) – Leopard Hills
No visit to Southern Africa is complete without experiencing its abundant wildlife, which differs from region to region. Within this part of Africa, Chobe and Sabi Sands Game Reserves are two areas not to be missed.
Located in the western part of the Sabi Sands Game Reserve and bordering the world famous Kruger National Park, Leopard Hills is spectacularly situated atop a rocky outcrop, offering magnificent views over the bush and a very active waterhole on the plains below.
A three night stay at the award winning Leopard Hills camp in Sabi Sands will allow you to come in close contact with the Big 5 (Elephant, Lion, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard) in their natural habitat, which you may spot during your morning and afternoon game drives. Although the leopard is known for being one of the most elusive animals of the Big 5, Sabi Sands is particularly well known for its amazing leopard sightings.
Experienced rangers add another dimension to your experience, and you’ll learn an incredible amount about these creatures as well as the birdlife, as the Sabi Sands Game Reserve features over 300 bird species.
Enjoy your days at the lodge on game drives, being immersed in cultural experiences or simply relaxing at the lodge and taking in your beautiful surroundings.
On your last day, you’ll be met by one of our representatives and transferred to Nelspruit for your connection via Johannesburg to Kasane, where you’ll board one of the luxury houseboats in our Zambezi Queen Collection.
